It has been a massive 12 months for Fergus James. In late 2019, playing  the main stage at Splendour In The Grass after winning the triple j Unearthed competition, completed his first headline tour (including a sold-out shows in Sydney and his hometown of Armadale) and released his debut EP ‘All Of The Colours’, which featured singles ‘What Are We Waiting For’, ‘Back To Life’ and ‘Mistakes’ (all of which were the most played songs on triple j during their time of release). Bridget Hustwaite proclaiming ‘It has that Dean Lewis charm and a Gang Of Youths kind of adrenaline. You know those songs that leave you feeling both breathless and full? This is definitely one of them’.

In 2020 Fergus delivered ‘Good Man’, the captivating follow up to his debut EP. It landed him a spot on the return of triple j’s Like A Version where he got 'Soaked' up in your brain covering Benee. After a whirlwind twelve months, Fergus now has over 15 million streams on Spotify alone and counting.

Fergus returns to the stage in November for the Great Southern Nights live music initiative, presented by the NSW Government, Destination NSW and ARIA. The COVID-safe performances will take place in live music venues in Greater Sydney and regional NSW in November (Australian Music Month).
